Carla Terwilliger

Born in Cobleskill NY in 1954. Grew up in Nigeria in the early 1960's. I was a very active person; played sports in school, horse back rider and trainer, Peace Corps volunteer, NCNW project manager in Togo West Africa, Software Engineer, Navajo Reservation mission coordinator, singer song writer. LVAD due to undetected birth defect. HF first occurred at age 60. No previous medical problems or medical history. Was implanted in 2015. Three days later coded due to hemorrhaging. Was aware during my death experience and wrote a book about it. Disabled by post op medications for 2 years after surgery. Switched to natural herbs and dietary control to get off of disabling medications. Returned to work full time totally functional 2 months later. Been wilderness camping off grid, working, singing and loving life every since.
